COVID-19 Update: We Are (& Will Remain) OpenOur Bondi Junction Eastern Suburbs Physiotherapy Will Continue to Stay Open, We Are an Essential Service.
With these turbulent times amidst the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic a lot of businesses are closing their doors.
Our Physiotherapy practice, along with other allied health professionals, will be ensuring we continue to support our community during these tough times. Patients seeking help for new or existing problems will continue to be able to access and receive the same excellent physiotherapy treatments they expect from JW physical Health.
JW Physical Health will continue to trade during the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic in weeks and months to come. The Australian federal, NSW state and Eastern Suburbs local governments recognise us as an Essential Service. We will stay open and are committed to supporting our local community.
We continue to stay open to help our community. We are here to treat people that are in pain or are suffering an injury that is restricting function of their normal life, activity or movement. If we were to close, these people may otherwise end up in GP offices, or taking a bucket load of pills or medication to make them feel better.
The health and safety of our clients and staff are paramount.
All staff have been updated on procedures to ensure that we can still provide the quality of service you are used to whilst maintaining safety protocols in the current environment.
Additional operating procedures have been revised to ensure they include:
- All staff will continue to sanitise all beds, equipment, waiting area, and chairs after use
- All staff must thoroughly wash hands before and after seeing patients
- Hand sanitiser is available on the reception desk as well as in each treatment room for both patients and staff to use
- We encourage all patients and staff to use the hand wash basins located in the treatment rooms to wash your hands on arrival to the clinic
- If you are feeling unwell, please let us reschedule your appointment. We will not be charging any cancellation fee.
If you are in an at-risk population group or have regular contact with somebody within an at-risk population group please think twice about going outside if it is not essential.
For people that need help but cannot get into our clinic, telehealth options are available that we can provide to you over the phone or internet.
Should you have any questions or concerns please contact our clinic.
If you have lost work or are struggling financially and require physio help, please reach out to us. If you’re in pain, we will work it out. We are here to help.
Thank you for everyone that has been supporting us during this time. Let’s look after each other. We’ll come out of this stronger, together.
