In our previous article we have spoken about hamstrings injuries, explaining why hammies tears occur, what happens exactly when we injure them, and which are the most common ways of injury.
Now it’s time to talk about how we can prevent these injuries.
The most reliable option we have, is to gain strength with a series of hamstring strengthening exercises. While mobility is important, having hamstrings that aren’t up to scratch with your quads is one of the places we see people go wrong most often.
To understand the importance of hamstrings strength, keep in mind that to help prevent strains, your hamstrings should be as 70% as strong as your quads. Furthermore, hamstring tears are a recurring injury, with 1 in 3 chances of returning if not properly rehab
