This glamourous looking exercise is called a neck retraction with over pressure. It’s one of our go to exercises for patients suffering with headaches.
The idea is simple, maintain the improved mobility through the upper cervical spine to prolong the treatment effects and hopefully keep those headaches at bay.
Best completed against a wall to support your back, hold the position for 20 seconds or four slow deep breaths in and out. Repeat 3-4 repetitions, 2-3 times per day to reap the benefits!
