JW Home Visits: Bondi Junction & Surrounding Eastern Suburbs
At JW Physical Health, our preference is to treat patients in-clinic where we have access to the full range of equipment and space to deliver the highest level of care. However, we understand that for some individuals, getting to the clinic is not always possible.
For patients who are unable to attend in person, we offer a limited home visit physiotherapy service within a few kilometres of Bondi Junction.
Who Home Visits Are For
Our home visit service is designed primarily for individuals who may have difficulty accessing the clinic, including:
- Older adults with reduced mobility
- Patients recovering from surgery who are not yet able to travel
- Individuals experiencing significant pain or functional limitations
- Patients requiring short-term support before transitioning into the clinic
If you are able to attend the clinic, this will always be recommended to ensure the best possible outcomes. However, where this is not practical, we can provide care in the comfort of your home.
What to Expect from a Home Visit
During a home visit, one of our physiotherapists will assess your condition, understand your goals, and develop a tailored treatment plan based on your current needs and environment.
Treatment may include:
- Gentle hands-on therapy to reduce pain and stiffness
- Mobility and flexibility exercises
- Strength and balance training (particularly important for fall prevention)
- Guidance on safe movement around your home
- Advice for family members or carers where appropriate
Our focus is on helping you move safely, maintain independence, and improve confidence with daily activities.
A Stepping Stone Back to the Clinic
Where possible, home visits are often used as a short-term solution. As your mobility and confidence improve, we may recommend transitioning into the clinic environment to allow for more comprehensive rehabilitation and access to additional equipment.
