Online Physiotherapy (Telehealth)

At JW Physical Health we aim to offer you the best treatment possible, and this means we want to provide/continue your treatments regardless your situation or location. We therefore offer online Physiotherapy consultations and follow ups. We use the most up to date technology which allows us to be on a video chat with you, providing you with ongoing rehab exercises and counselling.

If you aren’t sure if you also benefit from some hands on and/or dry needling, you can still book your online session, and we will let you know what the best option for your next session will be. We always aim to give you continuity, although we are happy to collaborate with professionals close to you if this option makes your goals easier to be achieved.

Online Physio is great for clients who:

• Live in a remote area or have moved to a different country
• Travel a lot for work
• Are unable to make it to the clinic for any reason

How does it work with your online physiotherapist:

• You will receive a text message with a form to fill out with your details prior to the consultation
• You and your Physio will discuss the history of the issue and all of your symptoms
• You may be asked to perform specific movements to help your Physio better understand the issue
• Your Physio will discuss with you the diagnosis and rehab plan tailored to your needs, as well as prescribe an individualised exercise program and teach you how to perform the exercises
• The Physio will then send you an email with all you have discussed in your appointment, including the treatment plan and the prescribed exercises (we may set you up on our free app so you can follow your rehab program from there if needed)
• You and your Physio will schedule follow up sessions as needed
• Your Physio will update your doctor or any relevant health practitioners as needed
