DAVID – Physiotherapist
David joined the JW Physical Health team in 2026 after working across private practice, public health and sporting environments in both Ireland and Australia.
Originally from County Donegal, Ireland, David holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and has experience managing a broad range of musculoskeletal, neurological, sporting and persistent pain conditions. Prior to relocating to Sydney, he worked within the Health service in Northern Ireland, as well as in semi-professional soccer in the Irish League. Since moving to Australia, he has continued to work in private practice, sport, and hospital rehab.
David has a particular interest in exercise-based rehabilitation and enjoys working with individuals of all ages and activity levels, having guided patients through all stages of rehab, from day 1 post-op, to returning to elite competition.
As a former Irish National Champion in the 800 metres as a junior, David has a strong interest in running-related injury rehab and prevention, and performance-focused exercise prescription.
David uses evidence-driven techniques to combine hands-on therapy with individualised exercise programs to help his clients achieve their goals. He is passionate about helping clients understand their condition, build confidence in movement and achieve long-term outcomes.
Outside of physiotherapy, David plays Gaelic Football, and loves running and strength training in the gym. Having spent his whole life either competing in, or working in elite sport, he understands all about the physical and mental demands of an athlete.
